CCUI Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement on "Digital Performances, Cultural and Creative Non-legacy" with Gusu District People's Government

On the afternoon of January 20th, the Yangtze River Delta Integration Suzhou's visit to Shanghai was held at the Shanghai International Convention Center. Xu Kunlin, a member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee, and Peng Chenlei, Deputy Mayor of Shanghai, delivered speeches at the coordination briefing. Li Yaping, Deputy Secretary of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Suzhou, presented the city's introduction.

 

To further promote the integration of the Yangtze River Delta and the co-development of Shanghai and Suzhou, a total of 90 special cooperation agreements and project cooperation agreements were signed on-site between Shanghai and Suzhou, covering various fields such as government services, technological innovation, industrial cooperation, infrastructure, ecological protection, public services, market opening, and the construction of integrated demonstration zones.

Li Yaping, the Mayor of Suzhou, stated that Suzhou's industrial development is progressing rapidly, its open layout is revitalized, its cultural heritage is inclusive and innovative, and its business environment is full of new opportunities. Currently, efforts are being made to promote transportation interconnection to reduce the spatial distance for the coordinated development of Shanghai and Suzhou. Industrial complementarity is being encouraged to stimulate the economic dividends of coordinated development, and cooperation and interaction are being promoted to enhance emotional integration in the coordinated development of Shanghai and Suzhou. He expressed the hope that people from all walks of life would cooperate closely to jointly write a new chapter in the era of coordinated development between Shanghai and Suzhou.

During the event, Chairman Wei Jianhua, on behalf of China Resources, signed a "Strategic Cooperation Agreement on Digital Performances and Cultural Creativity for Intangible Cultural Heritage" with the People's Government of Gusu District. In 2020, China Resources presented a virtual performance in the core business district of Gusu District, featuring the integration of Gusu's intangible cultural heritage, holographic projection, and immersive lighting. China Resources will further strengthen its extensive cooperation with the People's Government of Gusu District in areas such as technology, cultural tourism, urban renewal, and boutique hotels. They will uphold the innovative spirit of blending Gusu's traditional culture with cutting-edge technology to jointly depict a new era of "Prosperous Gusu."
