On the morning of April 3, 2020, China Resources Chairman Wei Jianhua, CEO Su Bin, CCUI and Tourism General Manager Li Bing, and their team were invited to participate in the "Gusu Eight-Thirty" global investment promotion online event hosted by the Gusu District Government.
The promotion event was conducted entirely through video live streaming and focused on the spatial layout of nighttime economy development, introducing a batch of nighttime economy resources that reflect the cultural significance of Gusu and contribute to building the city's brand.
During the event, Gusu District Party Secretary Huang Aijun and Deputy Secretary Xu Gang delivered important speeches, introducing the "Gusu Eight-Thirty" nighttime economy brand. In the future, Gusu District will create a spatial development layout around the six main themes of "nighttime shows, nighttime tours, nighttime dining, nighttime shopping, nighttime entertainment, and nighttime accommodation," aiming to promote the development of a cultural tourism emerging consumption industry cluster.
As an important cooperating enterprise in Gusu District, CCUI will collaborate with the launch of "Gusu Eight-Thirty" to create a holographic interactive immersive virtual theater technology show tailored for Gusu District. Using international sound, light, and electrical new technologies and methods, and featuring a unique virtual idol performance style, this project will showcase the beautiful scenery, talented people, prosperity, and the blend of old streets and new city in Suzhou to the world, providing the audience with a visual feast. Li Bing, General Manager of CCUI, presented this project during the online roadshow, receiving high recognition from Gusu District leaders, media present at the event, and corporate representatives.
As a representative of the enterprise, CCUI Chairman Wei Jianhua expressed his expectations for the creation of the "Gusu Eight-Thirty" nighttime economy brand and his confidence in the digital intangible cultural heritage project of CCUI' cultural tourism subsidiary. With this project as a starting point,CCUI will officially establish its presence in Suzhou, create cultural brand highlight projects, introduce more international resources, and contribute to the development of Gusu's nighttime economy.
