On April 28, 2020, on the occasion of the one-year anniversary of the opening of the Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition, an event with the theme 'Spring Splendor, Colorful World Horticulture' was held in the Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition Park. Approved by the Beijing Municipal Government, the Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition Park was officially renamed 'Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition Park' and the unveiling ceremony took place on the first anniversary of the Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition. Officials from Beijing World Expo Company, a joint venture between China National Travel Service (HK) Group Corporation and Beijing Shiji Yintong Technology Co., Ltd., participated in this event.
The successful hosting of the 2019 Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition has laid a rich material and spiritual legacy for the future development of the Horticultural Exhibition. The Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition Park continues to retain its main venues, performance centers, outdoor exhibition gardens, and public green spaces from the Horticultural Exhibition. With the launch of the first Beijing International Garden Festival in the park, Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition Park will utilize its abundant cultural and tourism resources to gradually launch various exhibitions, contests, and events, such as student-designed gardens, corporate gardens, and citizen gardens. They will also organize various horticultural popular science and experience activities, as well as professional seminars and events related to gardening potted plants, flower appreciation, and flower identification. During this period, Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition Park will also introduce large-scale music festivals, hold summer cooling festivals, provide on-site performances, conduct competitive competitions, develop study programs, and more activities to further fully utilize the legacy of the Horticultural Exhibition.
After successfully implementing the first shareholder dividend of the Horticultural Exhibition project in March 2020, Beijing World Expo Company has been entrusted by the park's operating entity to continue deepening the post-operational market development, including advertising investment attraction and brand sponsorship. It has achieved full-process, full-chain, one-stop commercial management service coverage for the Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition, from preparation and operation to subsequent utilization. Currently, the commercial management company, in coordination with China National Travel Service (HK) Group Corporation, is actively participating in various large-scale exhibitions and is planning to collaborate with organizers to conduct various event operation services, including park transportation operation, commercial management, and brand sponsorship.
