Huangpu District Government Leaders Visit China Resources Tourism for Research

On June 9, 2020, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Huangpu District Committee and District Mayor of Huangpu District, Shanghai, Kejian Chao, along with leaders from the District Government Office, District Commerce Commission, and District Financial Office, visited CCUI for a research investigation. China Resources Tourism's Chairman Wei Jianhua and CEO Su Bin, along with other company leaders, attended the meeting. During the meeting, discussions were held on China Resources Tourism's main business, development goals, and the supportive policies provided by Huangpu District.

Chairman Wei Jianhua presented an overview of China Resources Tourism's development over the past four years. He expressed that as a mixed-ownership enterprise rooted in Huangpu District, China Resources Tourism has consistently implemented a development strategy that combines industry and finance. The company has actively expanded its core business in the fields of culture and tourism, high-end equipment and aviation, and fund management, with strong support from the Huangpu District Committee, District Government, and relevant departments.

China Resources Tourism expressed gratitude for the support and trust extended by Huangpu District and affirmed its commitment to the company's long-term development, which contributes to the rapid economic growth of Huangpu District. Moreover, considering the company's current developmental needs, especially after facing the significant impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the first half of the year, China Resources Tourism expressed its hope for further policy support from the District Government to solidify the company's post-pandemic development.

District Mayor Kejian Chao congratulated China Resources Tourism on its achievements over the past four years and highly commended the company's development model that combines industry and finance. Recognizing China Resources Tourism as a healthy, well-developed, and stable company, Mayor Kejian Chao stated that the company is eligible to apply for recognition as a district-level headquarters for private enterprises. He assured that Huangpu District would provide full support and assistance in this endeavor.

Mayor Kejian Chao emphasized that globally, financial centers are closely linked to cultural centers. As the core area of the Shanghai International Financial Center, Huangpu District places great importance on the cultural industry. Mayor Kejian Chao expressed the hope that China Resources Tourism would leverage its strengths in the cultural sector, tap into customer demands, and innovate business models to contribute to the development of Huangpu District as a cultural center.

Regarding data center construction, Mayor Kejian Chao mentioned that there is a significant demand for it in Huangpu District. China Resources Tourism has substantial room for development in this area. Huangpu District, with its concentration of financial institutions, would assist companies in conducting various businesses and contribute to the economic development of the region.

The leaders from Huangpu District Government hoped that China Resources Tourism would overcome the short-term negative impacts caused by the pandemic, utilize the advantages of mixed ownership mechanisms, seize opportunities, make continuous progress, and steer the company towards a trajectory of high-quality development, thereby jointly supporting the economic development of Huangpu District.
