The matchmaking meeting was presided over by Tong Guili, the secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Department of Science and Technology of Zhejiang Province. More than 120 academicians, scholars, enterprise representatives and venture capital institutions from France and more than 50 relevant units from Zhejiang Province were connected in this event.
Lianhong Yi pointed out that, taking advantage of the opportunity of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France and the Paris Olympic Games, Zhejiang is willing to work with Chinese President Xi Jinping visit France to implement the important consensus reached with President Emmanuel Macron during the visit to France, to deepen traditional friendship from a high starting point and carry out cooperation and exchange at a high level, especially to work hand in hand, side by side and go together in innovation and deepening. Through working together to strengthen industrial docking, further enrich innovative scenarios; work together to tap market potential and further expand innovative entities; work together to strengthen talent interaction and further strengthen cooperation. At the same time, we should focus on high-tech industries, tap cooperation potential in emerging fields such as green industry and clean energy, leverage our respective comparative advantages, and link innovative achievements with industrial development.
More than 30 projects were signed on the spot at the Zhejiang-France Innovation and Cooperation Docking Meeting on High-tech Industries, which cover areas including trade and economic investment cooperation, high-tech industry cooperation, technical joint research and development, and also cover the agricultural food, health, clean energy and other fields. The signing amount reached 1.321 billion US dollars.
